Grand Complications Celestial ref. 6105G-001

The Grand Complications Ref. 6105G-001 introduces a new dimension to Patek Philippe’s astronomical watchmaking. This Celestial model combines a rotating sky chart, lunar indications, and for the first time in a Patek Philippe wristwatch, displays the times of sunrise and sunset, bringing a more tangible connection between horology and the natural rhythms of the Earth.

Encased in 47mm of white gold, the watch features a strikingly modern, lugless design with an integrated strap and distinctive X-shaped detailing inspired by space structures. Beneath the sapphire crystal, multiple rotating discs recreate the night sky as seen from Geneva, while additional hands track the date, as well as the annual variation in daylight through sunrise and sunset indications.

At its core is a newly developed self-winding 240 C LU CL LCSO calibre, taking over five years to develop and incorporating six patented innovations. Alongside its celestial displays, the movement introduces a synchronised system that allows for seamless adjustment between summer and winter time without disrupting the astronomical functions, demonstrating both technical ingenuity and practical refinement.

This striking timepiece pairs a minute repeater with a distinctly modern aesthetic, featuring a 38mm white gold case and a navy-blue dial enhanced by a carbon-patterned centre and vivid orange accents.

Powered by the self-winding R 27 PS calibre, the watch delivers the acoustic refinement of a minute repeater chiming on two classic gongs, while a 22K gold micro-rotor ensures both performance and elegance. The layered dial finishing and sporty composite strap further reinforce its contemporary character.

The 7047G-001 reflects Patek Philippe’s ability to reinterpret traditional complications through a modern lens, showing  balance of technical mastery and forward-thinking design.

Complications World Time – 7129J-001

With the Complications Ref. 7129J-001, Patek Philippe introduces a vibrant interpretation of its iconic World Time complication, pairing technical travel functionality with a striking new identity.

Housed in a 36mm yellow gold case, the model presents a more compact expression of the World Time family, distinguished by its smooth bezel and refined proportions. The dial immediately commands attention through a rich carmine red lacquer finish, contrasted by a hand-guilloché basket-weave centre that adds texture and depth beneath the vivid surface.

At its core, the signature World Time architecture remains unchanged, displaying 24 time zones simultaneously via a rotating city ring and 24-hour disc, with day/night indication ensuring intuitive global readability. Local time is adjusted effortlessly through the crown pusher at 10 o’clock, allowing all indications to advance in unison without disrupting precision.

This latest execution underscores the enduring relevance of World Time within the Complications collection, now reimagined through a bolder aesthetic language that brings new energy to a historic complication.

Grand Complications – 5204G-010

Now presented in white gold, the model is paired with a striking navy-blue sunburst dial that fades to a black gradient, offering a more modern, urban expression of a classic.

Housed in a 40mm case, the manually wound calibre CHR 29-535 PS Q remains at its core, an intricate movement combining traditional column-wheel architecture with multiple patented innovations. The dial retains its highly legible layout, balancing day, date, month, leap year, moon phase, and chronograph indications with remarkable clarity despite its complexity.

The Complications Ref. 5249R-001 introduces a highly poetic expression of watchmaking, marking Patek Philippe’s first automaton wristwatch in its contemporary history. Inspired by a historic 1958 pocket watch, this remarkable piece brings time to life through a mechanical animation based on The Crow and the Fox.

Encased in 43mm of rose gold, the watch features an on-demand display of hours and minutes, activated by a pusher at 2 o’clock. At each press, a choreographed sequence unfolds across the dial, with retrograde indications appearing through a complex system of cams and levers, demonstrating both technical ingenuity and artistic craftsmanship.

Powered by the self-winding calibre 31-260 PS HMD AU, the 5249R-001 blends mechanical innovation with rare handcrafts, including hand-engraved gold elements and intricate decorative detailing. It stands as a unique addition to the Complications collection, offering a distinctive fusion of storytelling, horology, and traditional artistry.

Complications - 4946G-001

With the Complications Ref. 4946G-001, Patek Philippe introduces a contemporary interpretation of its Annual Calendar, marking the 30th anniversary of one of the manufacture’s most practical complications.

Presented in a 38mm white gold case, the model is distinguished by a blue-grey dial featuring a distinctive “shantung” finish, created through a combination of vertical and horizontal satin brushing, lending the surface a textured, fabric-like depth. This modern aesthetic is further complemented by a matching calfskin strap with a subtle denim pattern, reinforcing the watch’s more relaxed, contemporary character.

The Annual Calendar display is configured with day and month indicated by hands, while the date and moon phase are positioned at 6 o’clock, maintaining both clarity and balance across the dial. As with all of Patek Philippe’s Annual Calendar mechanisms, first introduced in 1996, the system requires only one correction per year, combining mechanical ingenuity with everyday usability.

This latest reference reflects a shift toward a more casual expression of complication, where technical sophistication is paired with a softer, more contemporary design.

Cubitus - 5840P-001

The Cubitus Perpetual Calendar Ref. 5840P-001 marks a significant step for Patek Philippe, introducing the first Grand Complication within the Cubitus collection. Crafted in platinum and measuring 45mm, the watch pairs its distinctive architecture with a slim profile, while the openworked dial reveals the intricacy of the calibre 28-28 Q SQU. This self-winding movement integrates a perpetual calendar with day, date, month, leap year and moon phase indications, all displayed with clarity through a carefully structured layout. A standout feature is the large, highly detailed moon phase display, offering a more immersive and realistic interpretation of the lunar cycle.

With this release, Patek Philippe continues to evolve the Cubitus line, merging technical sophistication with a distinctive new aesthetic direction within its Grand Complications collection.

Complications – 5396R-016

With the Complications Ref. 5396R-016, Patek Philippe revisits one of its most emblematic Annual Calendar configurations, marking three decades since the introduction of the manufacture’s patented calendar mechanism in 1996.

Presented in a fully polished 38.5mm rose gold case, the watch embodies the collection’s enduring balance between classical proportion and functional innovation. The new sunburst sand beige dial introduces a warmer, more contemporary tone, while maintaining the model’s signature vertical symmetry, day and month displayed in twin apertures at 12 o’clock, and the date integrated at 6 o’clock within a subsidiary dial.

That lower register also houses a 24-hour indication and moon phase display, preserving the layered practicality that has defined the 5396 line since its introduction. Applied rose gold obus-style hour markers and faceted dauphine hands enhance legibility while reinforcing the refined aesthetic language of the piece.

Powered by the self-winding Calibre 26-330 S QA LU 24H, the model continues to exemplify the ingenuity of the Annual Calendar system, requiring only a single correction per year, while delivering a complete and highly legible calendar display.

24-Hour Alarm Calatrava: 5322G-001 & 5322G-010

Crafted in white gold, the 41mm case is distinguished by its hobnail-patterned caseband, framing a textured navy blue dial with a subtle black-gradient rim, also available in Green. Applied numerals and luminescent syringe-shaped hands enhance legibility, while the date is displayed via a subdial at 6 o’clock.

With the Calatrava Ref. 7200-50G, Patek Philippe introduces two refined interpretations of its Ladies’ Calatrava, reaffirming the enduring appeal of the Officer’s-style case that has defined feminine elegance within the collection.

Both models are housed in a polished 34.6mm white gold case, distinguished by its straight lugs and discreet construction, offering a slim and balanced profile on the wrist. The two variations are expressed through colour and texture, one presented with a sunburst ice blue dial paired with a pearlescent alligator strap, the other in a warm sand beige tone complemented by a matching calfskin strap, each bringing a distinct character to the same architectural foundation.

Applied Breguet numerals and delicate pear-shaped hands maintain the purity of the display, staying true to the Calatrava’s philosophy of restraint, with hours and minutes presented in their most essential form. Together, these two executions highlight Patek Philippe’s ability to reinterpret a classic through subtle shifts in tone, offering contrasting expressions of the same enduring design language.

Grand Complications – 5236P-011

With the Grand Complications Ref. 5236P-011, Patek Philippe continues to refine one of its most technically distinctive calendar executions, presenting the patented in-line perpetual calendar in a contemporary platinum interpretation.

Housed in a 41.3mm platinum case, the model showcases a silvery dial with a vertical satin finish and a subtle black-gradient rim, creating a quiet depth that enhances legibility while maintaining a restrained aesthetic. The defining feature remains the single large aperture at 12 o’clock, where day, date, and month are displayed in a seamless horizontal alignment.

Powered by the ultra-thin self-winding Calibre 31-260 PS QL with platinum off-centre mini-rotor, the movement integrates a perpetual calendar mechanism alongside moon phases, small seconds, leap year, and day/night indications, all arranged with remarkable structural clarity despite their complexity.

Finished with applied gold hour markers, faceted hands, and a sapphire caseback revealing the intricate architecture within, the 5236P-011 reinforces Patek Philippe’s mastery of functional innovation expressed through visual restraint.

Grand Complications – 5270P-017

The Grand Complications Ref. 5270P-017 continues Patek Philippe’s legacy of perpetual calendar chronographs, combining one of watchmaking’s most revered complications with a bold new aesthetic direction. This latest release introduces a striking red lacquered dial with a black-gradient rim, joining newly introduced blue and charcoal gray variations alongside the previously released green version.

Encased in 41mm of platinum, the watch features a refined case design with a concave bezel and two-tier lugs, enhancing its presence while maintaining the elegance expected of the collection. The dial retains its highly legible layout, displaying day and month in twin apertures, with date, moon phases, leap year and day/night indications arranged across the subdials.

At its core is the manually wound Calibre CH 29-535 PS Q, Patek Philippe’s in-house perpetual calendar chronograph movement, celebrated for its technical sophistication and precision. With this expanded range of dial colours, the 5270P reaffirms its position as a cornerstone of the Grand Complications collection, balancing heritage, mechanical excellence, and a more contemporary visual identity.

Golden Ellipse – 5738G-001 & 3738/100G-014

With the Golden Ellipse Ref. 5738G-001 and Ref. 3738/100G-014, Patek Philippe revisits one of its most distinctive design codes, presenting two complementary interpretations of a form defined by balance and proportion.

Both models are housed in white gold cases shaped according to the principles of the golden ratio, an aesthetic signature that has defined the Golden Ellipse since its introduction in 1968. The duo is unified by a shared sunburst olive green dial, whose shifting tones bring depth and nuance to the minimalist display, enhanced by applied baton hour markers and slender hands.

The distinction lies in their proportions: the Ref. 5738G-001 adopts the larger “Jumbo” format, while the Ref. 3738/100G-014 marks the return of a more compact, traditional size, offering two expressions of the same design language, tailored to different wrist profiles. Both references maintain an ultra-thin profile at just under 6mm, powered by the self-winding Calibre 240 with an off-centre mini-rotor, preserving the collection’s signature elegance and wearability.

Calatrava – 5227G-015

With the Calatrava Ref. 5227G-015, Patek Philippe refines one of its purest expressions of classic watchmaking, introducing a subtle yet distinctive evolution of the collection’s understated aesthetic.

Presented in a 39mm white gold case, the model retains the signature Officer-style construction, complete with a rose-gilt opaline dial brings a warm, vintage-inspired character, enhanced by charcoal grey white gold applied hour markers and faceted dauphine hands.

A date aperture at 3 o’clock and sweep seconds indication maintain the watch’s functional simplicity, while preserving the balanced proportions that define the Calatrava line. The polished case, with its concave bezel and gently scalloped lugs, further emphasises the model’s refined silhouette.

This latest iteration underscores the enduring appeal of the Calatrava, where restraint, proportion, and quiet detail continue to define Patek Philippe’s vision of modern elegance.
