03 June 2014 - Patek Philippe celebrates its 175th Anniversary with a Grand Exhibition

A significant anniversary always calls for a celebration, and this year Patek Philippe marks their 175th anniversary, making them the last family-owned watch company in Geneva. To celebrate their 175 years of horological excellence, Patek Philippe are bringing a superb exhibition to London next year which will give visitors the chance to glimpse inside the world of this exceptional watchmaking company.

The Watch Art Patek Philippe Grand Exhibition will be held at London's Saatchi Gallery from May 27th to June 7th 2015 and will feature the chance to see artisans and watchmakers at work, as well as a specially curated collection of rare and exceptional Patek Philippe timepieces. This unique opportunity to see the watchmaking universe of Patek Philippe from the inside will also include a brand new commemorative timepiece, created to celebrate the 175th anniversary.

This event is a must for anyone fascinated by horology and master watchmaking. The Watch Art exhibition will lead visitors through the Patek Philippe experience through a series of 12 themed rooms, from the Immersion room to the Current Collection room, the Museum room, the Grand Complications room, the 175th Collection Gallery and the Rare Handcrafts Gallery along with a film theatre with rare archive footage. In total, visitors will be able to see over 400 exceptional pieces through the Saatchi Gallery's 2,200 square metres.

The 2015 exhibition will be open to the public from 10am to 7pm on weekdays and from 10am to 4pm on Sundays with guided tours available on a daily basis.
