24 September 2015 - Panerai lands at Hettich

Cult watch brand Panerai launches at Hettich Jewellers this month with an exclusive-to-the-Channel Islands collection of their classic military-inspired watches.

With aesthetics inspired by Italian military design and a build rooted in Swiss heritage, Panerai is one of the most distinctive watch brands around. Panerai's tradition of ensuring manufacture is kept to limited editions makes their watches a unique and exclusive product, coveted by watch connoisseurs the world over.

Panerai's watchmaking heritage dates back to 1860 when Giovanni Panerai opened a watchmakers shop and watchmaking school on Ponte alle Grazie in Florence. With a tradition of supplying watches for the Italian Navy from the early 1900s, Panerai's classic models are characterised by innovative high tech materials and high performance design to stand up to the rigours of military use. In 1993, Panerai launched a range of limited edition watches to the public, inspired by the historic military models, which instantly became highly sought after items for many collectors and enthusiasts. Panerai's Italian design and high-performance Swiss engineering have made the brand one of the most recognisable out there, despite the relative rarity of the watch collections.

Hettich is delighted to be partnering with Panerai to bring this exclusive brand to the Channel Islands for the first time. The collection, which launches on Thursday 1stOctober will feature classic limited edition Panerai watch models including their iconic Luminor and Radiomir ranges.
