Hiring - Porter

• Welcome and greet customers with a warm and professional demeanour, creating a secure and inviting atmosphere.
• Ensure the safety and security of the store and employees.
• Patrol the retail areas to prevent possible theft or safety hazards.
• Monitor the flow of customers in and out of the store and ensure their safety.
• Open and close the shop. Securing all exits, doors and windows before leaving.
• Contribute to security planning.
• Be responsible for the maintenance of First Aid Kits.
• Co-ordination of contract cleaners and to provide/arrange cover when required and ensure all pavements and access ways to and from the shop are clean and clear.
• Notify the business of deficiencies or repair needs. Perform repairs where possible.
• Provide general Porter/Concierge duties such as messenger, processing of mail with the Post Office and allocate deliveries to the designated areas.
• Be responsible for ensuring adequate supplies of consumables and laundry.

• Impeccable presentation and interpersonal skills
• Previous experience in a similar environment is preferred.
• Exceptional communication skills with a focus on providing excellent customer service.
• Ability to multitask and remain composed in a high-paced high-end retail setting.
• Discretion and professionalism when handling customer information.
